Morning: Junior Space Camp (Mornings 9-12)
What's it like to be an astronaut?
This awesome summer camp adventure combines hands-on STEM exploration to explore rockets, space stations, robots, space weather, planetary geology, stars, asteroids, meteors, rockets and so much more, while also developing skills in creative thinking, design, teamwork, astronomy, engineering, geology, meteorology, chemistry, physics, and math.
Afternoon: Junior Makey Makey! (Afternoons 1-4)
For the little tykes, we are offering an introductory hands-on, beginner course to introduce Makey Makey and how everyday objects can be used to create fun and engaging projects!
This course will provide a foundation for kids to learn how science and computer technology can be used to make everyday objects come to life using circuits and beginner computer programming. Students registered will build a basic knowledge of circuits and coding to create interactive artwork, computer games, music, and more!
Please send your child with a snack, lunch and water
Classroom information will be emailed to parents ahead of time
Arrive at 8:45 on Day 1. Please pick up at 4:00PM in the classroom
