The Springbank Community Association became a Society in 1940, but has been around for over 100 years! Our community is growing and changing and we are, too. From community programs to input on planning and development activities, we are here to elevate the community's spirit and voice.

ROCKYVIEW AGRICULTURAL MASTER PLAN

Rocky View County is currently in phase 2 of public engagement on a revised Agriculture Master Plan. This updated draft plan aims to identify the needs and priorities of the agricultural community, establish goals for future growth and innovation, and provide a roadmap for achieving these objectives.The County has engaged with local farmers, agri-businesses, and residents to create a draft of the Agriculture Master Plan. During phase 1 of engagement, participants shared their views on the following:
-Protecting agricultural land
-Farm succession & flexible land use
-Sharing the priorities and contributions of agriculture
-Renewable energy & environmental sustainability
-Road infrastructure
-Legislated programs
Please participate in the lunch above to share your views on the direction and actions proposed in the draft Agriculture Master Plan.

Springbank BOOK CLUB
Let's start a Springbank book club! Our first book will be The Ministry of Time by Kaliene Bradley. Currently on sale at Costco, this is one of Barack Obama's favourite books, a winner of Goodreads Choice award for science fiction, a best book of the year: NPR, Vanity Fair, Esquire, Vox, Good Housekeeping, The independent, Parade, Kirkus reviews and more.
The Book Club will meet up monthly at the Icebreaker lounge in SPFSA. First meet up will be Feb 25th, 7 pm. Come out, get to know members of the community and discuss the book!
